my random life
Sep. 7th, 2007 11:02 amLately, I've been really into getting into shape, since I'm tired of always being the person dragging other people behind when we go do things. There have been a handful of times in my life where I've felt physically fit, and it's such a fantastic feeling that I'm finally ready to work my ass off at getting back there.
I harbor a not-so-secret dream of doing a long bike tour of somewhere in Japan in a year or two -- part of Hokkaido, maybe, I don't know -- but while I don't have a bike here to train on, at least I can try and get myself into some semblance of shape so it'll be easier for me to start my bike training once I do have one.Someone should come with, seriously.
Kashi Crunch cereal is surprisingly delicious. I think I have a new favorite.
Classes are okay. Thank God for Fessler. Also, our library has a bunch of really fascinating books if you look hard enough. I'm doing a paper on the progression of female images in Japanese pop culture for a class (it's my last semester, I don't care if he doesn't approve the topic!), and our library has three books with sections devoted to that very topic! I'm really impressed.
My bra keeps peaking out of my shirt today. Oops. I hope everybody enjoys bright magenta as much as I do.
I'm pretty content lately. This soundtrack only has a little bit to do with that. I guess part of my old romanticism remains after all, sigh sigh sigh.
There is not enough water in this world for a Ri, yum yum yuuum.
